Papa Slide Rock Bolter

Papa Slide Rock Bolter

Goauche Water Media on cold press water color paper

Painting 4"x6" in a 5"x7" frame, hangs by a ribbon

The legend of the Slide Rock Bolter is unique to Colorado. This cryptid was first described in the 1910 cryptid guide "Fearsome Creatures of the Lumberwoods" by William Thomas Cox.

This painting is my fanciful idea of this enormous, fearsome, carnivorous land fish. The "kanji" in the top corner is my own creation.

This painting arrives in its frame and with a certificate of authenticity!
